Last Tuesday Google did the final deed in ending the cache to the index.
Last week was also a challenge for another reason. Google modified its content processing priority. This bit of a headache required a modification of the testing protocol so that this data could confirm confidently when content went through BOTH passes - first and rendering (the 2nd pass). [see image below]
Got it figured out with the apparent modification of what appears to be an updated priority in processing new content.
