Welcome to Crawl or No Crawl where you get fresh off the search console confirmation about the state of indexation.
Last Tuesday Google did the final deed in ending the cache to the index.
Last week was also a challenge for another reason. Google modified its content processing priority. This bit of a headache required a modification of the testing protocol so that this data could confirm confidently when content went through BOTH passes - first and rendering (the 2nd pass). [see image below]
Got it figured out with the apparent modification of what appears to be an updated priority in processing new content.
I went into particulars last week on how the loss of the cache and the appearance of an updated content processing priority intersected with each other.
Let’s look at the indexation rate since getting this nailed down.
