Welcome to Crawl or No Crawl and we’re having fun now! Lesser mortals assume this research “only” applies to indexation and nothing to help them get to page 1.

Purpose of Research

The purpose of this research is to put the indexation system, all of it, under the microscope.

By poking around finding out “where the sidewalk ends” when it comes to minimally viable content for indexation, there is much to learn. Uncovering how the HC System gets involved at the level of indexation was only part of it.

Recent news

These past two weeks have given me access into some of the cost savings that Google is pursuing now that we’re (almost) in Q4.

Google no longer keeps a copy of our content in cache.

What problem does dispensing with the cache solve? - Money & resources as we move into Q4. Historically this quarter is the higher level of revenue and profit for Google’s parent company, Alphabet and therefore, stockholders.

Yesterday I shared that testing with fake keywords on a test site just got a little more difficult. Its the kind of change that indicates just as Google evolves, my process to confirm the first pass and second pass (the rendering including js) must also evolve.

Yes, that part also implies that Google may be cutting some processing costs.

I’m excited to share it with you.
