Indexation Report - Do Not Read (until you are sitting down)

Welcome to Crawl or No Crawl I come bearing news that is subtle but could have an influence on your rank trackers and psyche if you only gauge success via rank trackers.

I want to share with you data and a real live ad hoc “consultation” discussion which illustrates what this looks like in the real world through the eyes of indexation data.

What I’m finding is nothing short of maddening.

It does speak to a volatility that might only be present because of Chrome 204, the Googlebot update that came in Dec 22nd and started a mess that was visible to us starting on Dec 24th, and the burden Google took on with that build.

The January 4th report, in my opinion, is worth an entire year’s subscription alone.
